Atypical Accolade!
Wow, after all the nasty e-mails I have received since my first "Helmet Issues" page (only about 10% have actually made it to the site), I finally got a compliment. I know this is barely worth reading, but I had to post it anyway. I received this twice from Jay Logue. Here it is:
I
am with you in the fact that the rider of the motorcycle should be the one who
decides to go helmet less or not, not big brother, although it is smarter to
have as much protection as one can. I ride a Suzuki Volusia 800 cruser and I
wear a full face helmet, with a tourmaster coretech air jacket, gloves, jeans, and
over the ankel lace up boots. I hope that in the event I find myself going from
a vertical to a horizontal position on my bike, I have a better chance of keeping
most of my skin, and brains. the saleswoman made the comment and I quote "
a full face helmet on a cruser, thats a first I've seen " I told her I
wanted to be able to keep my ugly looks as long as possible, thanks for trying
to inform others of the need for head , and body protection.
